On April 6, 2013, supporters of the Illinois Innocence Project gathered in the Artisans Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. This year’s event featured an awards ceremony featuring Chicago Tribune columnist Eric Zorn with comments from exoneree Juan Rivera, music from local artist Micah Walk, substantial hor d’oeuvres from Celebrations Catering, a silent auction, cash bar, and more.
