Make Family Weekend even more meaningful by serving together! Join students, families, and friends as we prepare peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in the Springfield community.

The sandwiches will be distributed to local organizations, including Washington Street Mission, Helping Hands Shelter, Contact Ministries, The Salvation Army, St. John's Breadline, Inner City Mission, and Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery. Depending on the day's schedule, volunteers may also have the opportunity to deliver the sandwiches to one or more of these community partners and see firsthand how their service makes a difference.

This simple, hands-on project is a fun and rewarding way to give back, connect with others, and make a lasting impact during Family Weekend. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a heart for service!
