The Men of Color Initiative presents Be a Man!; a conversation about male friendship, community, and companionship. The event will explore why building meaningful connections can be difficult for men, including how societal expectations around masculinity can shape the way men communicate, express vulnerability, and support one another. The goal is to create an honest space for men to connect, reflect, and discuss what it means to build healthier communities with one another. Open to all UIS students, faculty, and staff.
