As a reminder, the doors to the Public Affairs Center will be locked two hours prior to events in Sangamon Auditorium as a security measure.

During this time, public access to the building will be limited to two entrances: the double doors near Tower 1 and the Teardrop entrance. Faculty and staff with ID card access may continue to enter through the tower entrances using their ID cards.

The ID Center will be closed on Friday, Dec. 4. Online services, such as Campus Cash deposits, will remain available 24/7.

The ID Center will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, so staff can attend an event in Urbana. It will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Online services, such as Campus Cash deposits, will remain available 24/7.

The 2027-28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available now at StudentAid.gov.

The 2027-28 FAFSA is used to apply for federal financial aid for:

• Fall 2027
• Spring 2028
• Summer 2028

UIS priority filing deadline: March 15, 2027

Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by the UIS priority deadline to be considered for financial aid.

Students must verify that all curriculum information is listed accurately BEFORE submitting an online Graduation Application (including major, minor, concentration, certificate, etc.).
