In honor of Trans* Visibility Week, the Safe Zone / Brave Space Committee and Brookens Library cordially invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 from 3:30pm-5pm CT in Brookens 230A for an interactive and engaging Brave Space workshop highlighting different techniques and strategies for finding Queer voices in the library. Participants will earn Brave Space credit, which goes towards Safe Zone / Brave Space membership. We will have light snacks and refreshments!

Come join the UIS Women's Center, CAP Honors, Brookens Library, and the Women and Gender Sexuality Studies department for a discussion on banned books and an opportunity to bedazzle your own book!
