The Career Connections Expo will be hosted by the University of Illinois Springfield on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at The Recreation and Athletic Center (TRAC) on the UIS Campus! Parking is available (at no additional cost) for participants in Lot I. 

The Career Connections Expo provides a great way to connect students, alumni, and community job seekers with employers who are looking for candidates for jobs, internships, and future connections.

Meet us at the North Entrance of the Student Union to:

* Learn how to enter the Iris photo booth scholarship drawing ($2500) running wow until April 29, 2026.

* Get ready and ask questions about all things career, upcoming events including the Career Connections Expo on Friday, March 20, 2026.

* Learn about resources and opportunities with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission!

The OPT Workshop is designed for Summer 2026 graduates. Attendees will learn about OPT eligibility, application requirements, and preparation steps. The Career Development Center will also share job search tips tailored for international students on OPT.
