The Professional Staff Leadership Academy (PSLA) is designed to foster and sustain a culture of exceptional, dynamic, and transformational leadership at all levels of the University of Illinois System. 

This program, open to academic professional and exempt civil service employees, offers:

• Interactive leadership activities 
• 360 and Hogan assessment tools 
• Book review 
• Facility tours 
• State legislative education 
• System-wide networking 
• A mentorship program 

Applications for the ninth cohort of PSLA are now open. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and be available to attend all four conferences in 2027. Applications and the required documents are due no later than 11:59 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026.
