Facilities & Services is pleased to announce that the first floor of the Public Affairs Center (PAC) has reopened following the completion of the PAC Plumbing Infrastructure Renovation Project.

Construction gates have been removed, restoring access to the building's main entrance area. In addition, the PAC tunnel system has reopened, allowing normal pedestrian traffic through the building.

Facilities & Services continues to complete final cleanup and closeout activities associated with the project.

Some first-floor occupants are still in the process of moving back into their offices and workspaces. We appreciate the campus community's patience as these transitions continue.

Several first-floor conference rooms remain unavailable at this time. Information regarding the status and future availability of these spaces will be shared by the UIS Performing Arts Center at a later date.

Thank you to the campus community for your patience and cooperation throughout this renovation. Your support has helped make important infrastructure improvements that will serve the campus for years to come.
