Project Updates
iCard has completed the move to UHB and very recently welcomed a new next-door neighbor, Military and Veteran Student Services and the Veterans Lounge.

Lighting upgrades have been completed in PAC 155 (formerly meeting room E). The fluorescent lighting fixtures were removed and replaced with LED lighting with dimmer controls. The new LED lighting provides a brighter, more even spectrum than fluorescent, resulting in bright light that is easy on the eyes. The overall distribution of light is also much improved.
Kudos to Bryan Rives for envisioning and initiating this worthwhile and valuable improvement!

Congratulations to Aaron Stewart on being named UIS Employee of the Month for August! Aaron has been in the role of business manager for F&S since May of 2022 and has had a tremendous positive effect on our department. He also serves the university through his participation in the Campus Senate, the Civil Service Advisory Council, and the University Planning and Budget Committee.
We are proud, honored, and very fortunate to have him as a member of our F&S team.
