As finals and the end of the semester approaches, the library is offering new events and
resources to help support students. Whether it’s attending our book club, our paint and
create event, or getting research help, we have something to support everyone.

Overbooked Book Club

Do you want somewhere to be able to talk about what you’re reading? Need new book
recommendations? Join us to talk about your favorite cozy books and enjoy some light
refreshments on Tuesday, November 11 at 3-4pm at Brookens Library (BRK 230A).

Pumpkin Paint & Create

Need a quick break from studying? Come paint a pumpkin and enjoy some hot cocoa
on Monday, November 17 at 4-6pm at Brookens Library (BRK 230A).

November Book Displays

If you stop by the library in November, check out our two new book displays near the
library’s main desk: Cozy Reads and 60 Years of Censorship, a collaborative book
display with UIS History Club.
