If you're looking to make some connections on the first day of classes, come to the library and enjoy some games, crafts, or our library spaces at our open house from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, August 22nd!

Bookworm Battle

Challenge your knowledge about all things books and libraries, join us for some online trivia via Zoom on Monday, August 25th, from 3pm to 4pm! Access the Zoom link on the UIS Connection event page.

Plant a Study Buddy

Do you need something to keep you company for all of your studying this semester? Plant your very own succulent for your dorm or apartment on Thursday, August 28th, from 12pm to 2pm (until supplies last) at the Brokens Overhang!

In addition to our great events, you can also check out our new book displays featuring Asian American literature and library staff recommendations on the main floor of the UIS Library.
