The UIS men's tennis team opens its spring season this weekend with back-to-back road matches in Ohio against Tiffin and Findlay.

The Prairie Stars begin the weekend on Saturday with a matchup against Tiffin in Tiffin, Ohio, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT (2:00 p.m. ET). UIS then heads to Findlay, Ohio, for a Sunday morning contest against Findlay at 10:00 a.m. CT (11:00 a.m. ET).

UIS went 1-1 during the fall season, earning a win over Chicago State before falling to Purdue Northwest. The Prairie Stars also competed in two fall tournament weekends, gaining valuable experience that carries into the spring opener.

Tiffin enters Saturday's match following a recent exhibition against Toledo, where the Dragons fell 6-1. Their lone point came from Harry Senior, who secured a three-set win at No. 6 singles. Tiffin's top players include Lucas Britez and Cole Cozens. In doubles play, the Dragons dropped two of three matches, with the closest result coming from Senior and Marlon Huber, who fell 6-4.

Findlay also faced Toledo in an exhibition recently, falling 7-0. The Oilers' doubles matches were closely contested, while singles play proved more challenging. Sunday's match against Findlay will be streamed live on FloCollege.
