The UIS women's golf team is excited to unveil its 2025 fall schedule, marking a fresh chapter under the guidance of first-year head coach Josh Edison. The Prairie Stars are set to compete in a series of challenging tournaments that promise to set an exhilarating tone for the upcoming non-championship season.

The fall campaign begins with the UIndy Fall Invitational on Sept. 8-9 at the Champions Pointe in Henryville, Indiana. This opening event will provide an early test for the team as they face off against some formidable competition.

A major highlight of the season is the Dan Salisbury Memorial Invitational, which the Prairie Stars will host on Sept. 15-16. The event will take place at the Piper Glen Golf Course in Springfield, Ill., offering a special chance for the UIS community, alumni, and supporters to rally behind their team. Coach Edison expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I'm thrilled to begin my first season leading the Prairie Stars and the opportunities ahead for our program. A real highlight will be hosting a home event at Piper Glen, it's a special opportunity to showcase our teams in front of the UIS community, alumni, and supporters."

Following their home competition, the Prairie Stars will travel to Smithville, Mo., for the Kansas City Cup on Sept. 22-23, held at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex. This will be followed by the Bill Crabtree Invitational in Owensboro, Kentucky, at The Pearl Club on Oct. 5-6, where the team will continue to refine their skills against a variety of opponents.

The fall schedule concludes with the Bearcat Dual Gender tournament on Oct. 20-21 at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Illinois. This event represents another opportunity for the Prairie Stars to go head-to-head with conference opponents and build crucial momentum as they look forward to the spring season.

Coach Edison is optimistic about the schedule, noting, "Our fall schedule is loaded with strong competition that will challenge us early and help set the tone for the rest of the year. We're looking forward to making the most of every tournament this fall and building momentum heading into the spring."

As the Prairie Stars gear up for this exciting lineup of events, they are eager to make their mark and showcase their talent throughout the fall season. Fans, families, and media can follow the team's progress and get more updates on the official UIS Prairie Stars website, uisprairiestars.com.
