UIS Launches Professionals Network to Engage Alumni and Community Leaders
The UIS Professionals Network is a vibrant membership organization committed to supporting professional development, encouraging philanthropic involvement, and strengthening ties across the campus community. Through its programs and events, the network offers members meaningful opportunities to grow, contribute, and connect.
Open to alumni and local professionals, the network offers members opportunities to build relationships with other changemakers, mentor students, support university programs, and engage with UIS leadership through exclusive events and behind-the-scenes experiences.
“The UIS Professionals Network represents the future of alumni and community engagement,” said Wayne Davenport, Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at UIS. “It’s a powerful opportunity for individuals to connect with one another, contribute their time and talents, and help shape the next generation of leaders at UIS. This is how we grow stronger—as a university and as a community.”
Membership is available for $300 annually (or $25 per month), with a discounted rate of $150 per year for members aged 28 and under.
As part of the network’s launch, UIS will host a happy hour event on Thurs., July 31, where prospective members can meet current participants, learn more about the initiative, and hear directly from university leadership. Reserve your spot today
