The nomination period for the staff awards will open next Monday, Feb. 9, and close on Friday, Feb. 20. A link to the nomination form will be sent out to allow nominations for the CARE & CAPE awards, as well as four additional staff awards.

• Orion award (for impact on students)
• Polaris award (for staff leadership)
• Nova award (for new employees)
• Sirius award (for shining attitude and performance)

The nomination announcement and link will run in campus announcements beginning on February 9th. The Civil Service Advisory Council, csac@uis.edu, and the Academic Professional Advisory Council, apac@uis.edu, will also provide this information via email to Civil Service and Academic Professional staff.
