Make AI Do the Work: A Hands-On Workshop for Local Business Owners

Innovate Springfield is hosting a 6-week workshop for local business owners who want to use AI to save time and increase profit.

Whether you've tried AI and gotten mixed results or haven't started yet, this program meets you where you are. You don't need any tech background or AI experience to get value from this.

You'll start by learning AI tools that anyone can use to be more effective in their business right away, from writing and research to organizing your operations. Just getting comfortable with AI tools as part of your daily workflow is a massive step up for any business or career.

From there, you'll go further. You'll identify the one thing holding your business back and work with UIS students and faculty to build a real solution for it. Whether that's social media and marketing, streamlining your operations, getting more leads, or something else entirely.

Unlike a free webinar that stops at the basics, this is a hands-on program where you leave with something built, tested, and running in your business by the final session.

You'll be in a small cohort of local business owners at all experience levels. Some people love the group energy of learning and troubleshooting together. Others prefer to put their head down and work directly with their UIS partner. Both work here. Either way, you'll build connections with other local business owners that last beyond the six weeks.

Led by Daniel Reifenberger, a Springfield startup founder with 13 years of business experience and over 3 years implementing AI.

In-person. Six 2-hour weekly workshops (6-8 pm) on Wednesday nights at Innovate Springfield (3rd floor classroom) starting February 25
