Sarah Gibson joined UIS as an Academic Advisor/Online Coordinator in March 2022. She earned her Master's degree in ESL/Bilingual Education from Western Illinois University, where she also earned her Bachelor's degree in Spanish. Sarah has studied abroad in Spain, taught abroad in Mexico, and has a love for travel and other cultures. She brings almost 2 decades of experience in post-secondary and higher education, holding roles in teaching, program leadership, accreditation management, advising, recruitment & retention, and online coordinating.
