Peter Varga is a graduate student in clarinet performance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying with Dr. Iura de Rezende. Peter has previously studied with and performed alongside members of the Cleveland Orchestra such as Daniel McKelway, Robert Woolfrey, and Afendi Yusuf. Peter served as the clarinet studio teaching assistant at UIUC during the 2022-2023 school year and taught clarinet lessons to undergraduate clarinetists. He is also passionate about teaching music theory and musicianship, and firmly believes in the connection between musicianship and personal growth. In his free time, Peter enjoys reading classic literature and pursuing goals in personal fitness.
