Sai Pranitha Sree Gouda, Candidate for Graduate Student Senator

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Graduate Student Senator at the University of Illinois Springfield. With my experience as a class representative and an active member of the Computer Society of India, I have developed strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. As a class representative, I effectively voiced student concerns and facilitated solutions, ensuring a smooth academic experience. Additionally, my role in organizing and managing inter-college fests strengthened my ability to coordinate large-scale events, manage resources, and foster teamwork under pressure. These experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving — skills essential for representing graduate student interests. If elected, I will work to enhance campus resources, improve student engagement, and create a more connected and supportive community. I am passionate about being a voice for graduate students and committed to driving meaningful changes that benefit our student body.
