An undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Communication provides students with a general background in communication theory and technology with an opportunity to engage in studying a specific area of communication and apply this knowledge to address specific social problems.
Undergraduate students in the School of Commmunication and Media can earn a bachelor's degree specializing in one of four content areas:
- Interpersonal and Cultural Communication
- Journalism and Media Studies
- Strategic Communication and Public Relations
- Communication Studies
Undergraduate students can also pursue an accelerated MA in Communication and Digital Media or an accelerated MA in Public Affairs Reporting, which will waive 12 credits to completion of the degree.
