The Office of Budget and Financial Analysis (OBFA) supports the University’s financial planning, resource allocation, and fiscal stewardship. The office provides accurate and timely financial information, analysis, forecasting, and guidance to support informed decision-making and the effective use of University resources.
Working collaboratively with campus leadership and units, the Office of Budget and Financial Analysis helps align financial resources with institutional priorities while promoting sound financial management, transparency, and accountability.
Services
- Provides financial planning, analysis, and guidance to campus leadership and units.
- Supports institutional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Coordinates the annual campus budget development process.
- Monitors campus financial performance and identifies emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provides and interprets financial and budget management information to support decision-making.
- Supports financial planning for new and existing academic and administrative programs and initiatives.
- Processes and manages temporary and permanent budget adjustments.
- Supports strategic resource allocation and financial decision-making across the University.
