"The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) is set to celebrate its 54th annual commencement with three ceremonies at the UIS Performing Arts Center’s Sangamon Auditorium on May 9 and 10. A total of 1,071 students will participate out of the 1,587 eligible to graduate."

"National Astronomy Day is quickly approaching, and to celebrate, the University of Illinois Springfield will host two events, giving the public the opportunity to explore the night sky.

"The University of Illinois Springfield delegation received the Outstanding Delegation award at the 2025 National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference in New York City.
