UIS and Cedarville Meet in Men’s Basketball Tuesday Evening

The UIS men's basketball team returns home on Tuesday for a 5:00 p.m. matchup against Cedarville, part of UIS's first home doubleheader of the season. The Prairie Stars follow the women's game against St. Francis (IL), which tips off at 3:00 p.m. UIS enters the contest at 3-1 after an impressive week that included a 107–78 win over Williams Baptist, with transfer guard Isaiah Davis averaging 25.5 points per game across the two victories.

Pam Francis named UIS Employee of the Month for December 2025

Pam Francis, administrative aide for library administration, has been named the University of Illinois Springfield Employee of the Month for December 2025. Francis’ kindness and compassion make her a great asset to the library team. “She cares deeply about each person and process in the library and our campus, and it shows in the quality of her work and in her willingness and joy to assist anyone who needs it,” her nominator said. Francis is always available to help anyone on campus who needs it. |
