UIS Men’s Soccer Travels to Alabama-Huntsville for Thursday's Season Opener

The UIS men's soccer team begins its 2025 campaign on Thursday, Sept. 4, with a road contest at Alabama-Huntsville. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Charger Field, and the match will stream live on FloCollege.
The Prairie Stars are coming off a 5-8-5 record in 2024 and will look to make a strong start in non-conference play. Thursday's matchup is the first opportunity for UIS to showcase its retooled roster and set the tone for the fall.

Lamraski, Baldin Post Top-10 Finishes as UIS Takes Fourth at Arch Cup

The UIS men's golf team competed Tuesday at the Arch Cup at Gateway National in Madison, Ill., finishing fourth among eight schools in the 36-hole tournament.
The Prairie Stars posted a team score of 15 over par, following rounds of 11 over and four over. Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) won with a score of six under par, followed by Drury at six over and Lewis at 13 over.

"Randy Eccles, general manager for NPR Illinois in Springfield, said that about 12% of its annual funding is from the federal government. The radio station, formally WUIS 91.9 FM, broadcasts out of the University of Illinois-Springfield campus and maintains satellite station WIPA 89.3 FM in Pittsfield." |
