WUIS Building - Restroom Renovation

Say good-bye to the old flooring and toilet stools in the restrooms of the WUIS building! A combination of F&S crews and external contractors are replacing the floors and stool fixtures, as well as patching and painting the walls. Material shortages and unexpected conditions have forced changes to the scope of work, which in turn have caused delays, but the final outcome will be a nice improvement.

SPRINGFIELD, IL (November 21, 2022) - UIS's Speech and Debate Team attended their third tournament of the 22-23 competition season. The Online Asynchronous Tournament Series (OATS) is a season long set of competitions hosted asynchronously by Southwest Minnesota State University. The OATS 3 tournament took place from November 14th to November 18th and had 55 teams from across the nation in attendance.

Vickie Cook has been named the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Retention Management at the University of Illinois Springfield, pending Board of Trustees approval.

Cook has been serving as Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment & Online, Professional and Engaged Learning since August 2021.
