AWS Outage Impacts UIS Services

Dear Campus Community, As many of you are already aware, Amazon AWS is experiencing a significant outage today. Many of the companies that UIS works with are impacted by the outage, which means that many services are currently unavailable (Canvas, Kaltura, Email+, some of the library databases, etc.). Close Match Sees UIS Women's Soccer Defeated by McKendree

The UIS women's soccer team was narrowly defeated by McKendree, 1-0, on Sunday at Kiwanis Stadium.
The first half began with both Illinois Springfield and McKendree settling into their rhythm, as northwestern winds kept much of the play along the bench side of the field. Gigi Yurevich was tested early but made key saves to keep the game level until the 30th minute when McKendree's Maggie Gleckler broke through with a goal, putting the visitors ahead 1-0.

Prairie Stars Battle Hard in 1-0 Loss to McKendree

The UIS men's soccer team fell to McKendree 1-0 on Sunday at Kiwanis Stadium, with McKendree's lone goal coming in the first half.
UIS goalkeeper Landon Amick made a crucial save in the opening minutes to deny McKendree's Alonso Romero Carmona. Gentil Selemani and Spencer Martin each took shots that went wide, as the Prairie Stars sought to find the breakthrough.
