UIS Softball to Host William Jewell for Senior Day Doubleheader

Prairie Stars Wrap Up Regular Season at Gibson Invitational

The Illinois Springfield women's track and field team will head to Indiana State University for the Gibson Invitational this Friday evening and Saturday. The meet marks the conclusion of the regular season for the Prairie Stars.

Norah Wright will return to the 3,000 meter steeplechase this weekend. Emma Leahy, Allison Thompson, and Marissa Roggensack are entered in the 5,000 meter run.

Maddie Miller Breaks UIS 5K Record at Bryan Clay Invitational

Maddie Miller set a new UIS school record in the outdoor 5,000-meter run on Thursday at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. Miller ran a personal-best time of 16:27.78, placing 8th out of 24 runners in Heat 1.
With the performance, Miller now holds the UIS records in the indoor 3K and 5K, as well as the outdoor 5K and 10K—solidifying her place at the top of the program's all-time distance leaderboard.
