The University of Illinois Springfield is excited to announce its upcoming in-person orientation event for newly admitted transfer and graduate students, titled “Taking Care of Business.” This event is designed to provide essential resources and support to ensure a smooth transition to campus life.

The session will take place from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 1 in the UIS Public Affairs Center and is ideal for students taking summer classes.

In our College, the impetus behind creating our new School of Politics and International Affairs (SPIA) was to recognize the importance of our political environment at home and abroad.

Join Your Civil Service Advisory Council: Nomination Forms Available for CSAC Election

All status (non-probationary) Civil Service employees are invited to submit online nomination forms for this year's Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) election.

Seven positions will be filled this year, each for a two year term.

Nomination forms must be received by 5:00 p.m., June 9 in order to be considered.
