The UIS women's soccer team (4-8-3, 3-7-2) closed out its home schedule on a high note Sunday afternoon, defeating UIndy (1-10-3, 1-9-3) 1-0 behind a first-half goal from Mallory Herber. Herber put the Prairie Stars on top in the 27th minute, finishing a setup from Addison Wittenberg to give UIS its lead. The goal came after several dangerous chances, including a close-range attempt from Ellie Mejia that forced a save from UIndy goalkeeper Maria White.

The UIS men's golf team closed out its fall season with a strong showing at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, finishing fifth as a team with a two-round total of 600. Individually, Sacha Lamraski led the Prairie Stars, carding a 150 (73-77) to tie for 12th overall. Lamraski was joined by Vilgot Arleback (151, T14), Daniel Edwards (152, T19), Jake Baldin (156, T28) Julien Babineau (156, T28), and Peyton Woods (158, T37).

The UIS men's golf team sits in 7th place after the opening round of the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational at The Pearl Club, posting a team score of 301. The Prairie Stars were led by Daniel Edwards, who carded an even-par 72 to tie for sixth overall in round one. Sacha Lamraski added a 73, while Jake Baldin (77), Vilgot Arleback (79) Julien Babineau (80), and Peyton Woods (84) rounded out the squad.

The UIS volleyball team (11-10, 3-5 GLVC) edged Drury (13-9, 3-4 GLVC) in a five-set thriller on Saturday afternoon, winning 23-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-11. "What a way to end the weekend!" said head coach Laura Ulrich. "I'm so proud of the team and their resilience. They stepped up when their backs were against the wall and came together as a team. I'm looking forward to continuing to push through this last stretch of conference play."

The Illinois Springfield women's cross country team delivered a program-best performance at the GLVC Championships on Saturday. UIS earned a third-place finish with 97 points scored, highlighted by the standout effort of Madelyn Miller-Ross, who captured the individual GLVC title.
