Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21, our Facilities & Services crews will be conducting a plumbing repair in Tower 1 of the Public Affairs Center (PAC), and water will be temporarily shut off from approximately 6:00 am to 9:30 am. The University of Illinois Springfield will waive the application fee for students from three area community colleges starting with the fall semester.

UIS will waive the $50 fee for transfer students applying from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Richland Community College in Decatur and Illinois Central College in East Peoria. The fee waiver will be automatically applied to transfer applications.

The University of Illinois Springfield is making it easier for students at three local community colleges to continue their education.
