UIS Men's Basketball Defeats Parkside 60-43

The UIS men's basketball team won its second game of the 2024-25 season on Sunday afternoon, defeating Wisconsin-Parkside 60-43 at the Midwest Regional Crossover. UIS improves to 2-0, while Parkside falls to 0-2.
Head coach Matt Brock was pleased with the win, saying, "We are playing strong and physical. 43 points from a team who beat us last year is a good defensive performance for us. Offensively, we can and will do better. Overall, good weekend for us!"

The Illinois Springfield women's cross country team raced at the NCAA DII Midwest Regional Championship on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Lewis Cross Country Course in Romeoville, Ill. The Prairie Stars finished 13th in a tough field of competition, including several top-10 nationally ranked programs and regional powerhouses.
