The second finalist for the UIS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources will be interviewing on campus today, Nov. 20. An open forum will take place from 3 to 3:45 p.m. in UHB 3080 for interested faculty and staff to attend and learn more about the candidate. A Zoom option is available, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged. Participants on Zoom will be able to ask questions via the chat function only. |

Mott is the vice president of Women of Distinction and a student worker at the Student Union. She chose UIS because of the scholarship accessibility. Following graduation, she plans to attend the police academy and pursue a career as a crime scene investigator. |

International Education Week (IEW) is promoted by the US Department of State and the US Department of Education. Both departments suggest it to be from November 18 to 22 this year. The aims are to prepare Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. Our excellent offices and departments on campus support the initiative with providing events related to international education. |
