The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present “Midway,” a survey of works that span the last ten years by Chicago-based artist Ann Toebbe. “Midway”will open on Monday, March 21, and will run through Thursday, April 14. A reception will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24. In conjunction with this exhibit, the UIS Visual Arts Gallery will host a remote artist talk at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. This event is open to the public. Participants can join via Zoom. |

UIS redesignated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education

The University of Illinois Springfield has been redesignated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (NCAE-C) through academic year 2027 by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The goal of the program is to reduce vulnerability in our national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and expertise in cybersecurity. |
