Women’s Soccer Kicks Off Regular Season with Two Home Games

The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team will begin its 2024 regular season with two games coming against tough non-conference opponents. The Prairie Stars take on the Findlay Oilers on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. to open the season. UIS welcomes the Central Missouri Jennies on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for the first-ever matchup between the two schools. UIS |
New medical laboratory science certificates coming to UIS

"There’s a new bridge program at the University of Illinois Springfield to help Central Illinois laboratories train more specialists to work in them. UIS is offering medical laboratory certificates to students at the start of the fall semester. The university is offering certificates in four areas: clinical chemistry, hematology, immunohematology and medical microbiology. |
