Internal Grants
The Provost’s Office sponsors and/or coordinates multiple UIS funding opportunities for faculty. Read more about each of the programs below.
A New, Streamlined Way to Apply for Internal Awards
In an effort to consolidate fragmented processes, the UIS Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has purchased a license for InfoReady, a platform that brings the application, review, and approval processes together in one convenient location.
Our team has been working to develop workflows and conduct internal testing in preparation for the Fall 2026 semester, and we are excited to announce that the new applications are ready for trial deployment!
We look forward to the opportunities InfoReady will provide to modernize and streamline our processes for both our office and the UIS community.
As we continue to develop and refine the system, there may be a few bugs or issues to work through initially. We welcome your feedback and want to know if anything is confusing, difficult to use, or simply not working as expected.
As always, please reach out to us at ORA@uis.edu with any questions, concerns, or comments. Your feedback will help us continue improving the experience for everyone!
