Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

The MBA at UIS is a generalist degree that provides career building opportunities for persons in all walks of life. Students will master contemporary management theory and practice in: accounting, finance, information systems, marketing, operations management, and organizational behavior.

Economics, B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics prepares students for well-paying positions in both business and government. Economists work in all facets of the business world, including banking, insurance, mining, manufacturing, and retailing.

Management Information Systems, B.S., M.S.

We offer a BS in MIS (with a Health Care Informatics concentration), an MS in MIS, an undergraduate MIS minor, and three graduate certificates in Business Process Management, IT Project Management, and Business Intelligence. Courses are available online, on campus, or in a hybrid format.

Accounting

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting prepares students for well-paying positions in both business and government.In the classroom We recognize that the contemporary accountant is the genius behind all intelligent business decisions and is frequently an executive’s most trusted advisor.

Business Administration, B.B.A.

This degree focuses on standard business practices and latest developments in the business world. In addition to the comprehensive BBA, concentrations within the BBA are available in Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, and Sport Management.

Management

The BBA with a Management Concentration prepares students to become organizational leaders, in the sense that today’s organizations need leaders at all levels, not just at the top.
