Tickets on Sale for 2025-26 UIS Basketball Season

The University of Illinois Springfield Athletics Department has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons. The Prairie Stars are set to open play in November at The Recreation and Athletic Center (TRAC), with plenty of home action to look forward to.
Fans can now purchase both season passes and single-game tickets to catch all the action at TRAC. Single-game tickets are priced at $10 for general admission, $5 for youth ages 5–17, and $15 for reserved chairback seating.

The UIS women's cross country team heads into the 2025 GLVC Championship looking to build on one of its strongest starts in program history. The championship will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at Lewis Cross Country Course in Romeoville, Ill., with the women's 6K starting at 9:30 a.m. CT. Fans can follow the action via live stream on GLVCSN and live results on TRXC Timing. Cool and cloudy conditions are expected.

Community Notification - Police Training

UIS Community, On October 24, 2025, between 9:30 am and 10:30 am, law enforcement officers from the University of Illinois Springfield, Illinois State Police, Illinois Secretary of State Police, and the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in a dignitary protection training exercise on campus. The training will take place in the area around Sangamon Auditorium and will involve officers wearing suits and earpieces, as well as a single large tactical vehicle that will be part of a simulated motorcade. |
