Outage: PAC Tower 1 Elevator

Greetings, Campus Community, The Tower 1 elevator is being taken offline temporarily pending inspection and operational assessment by Kone. Please note that the Tower 2 elevator remains out of service due to issues obtaining the parts necessary to make repairs. The Tower 3 elevator is open and available for use. The contractor is aware and able to assist as needed.Please report any issues to facilities@uis.edu. And as always, don't hesitate to reach out with questions. |

UIS Tennis Earns ITA Academic Awards

The Illinois Springfield men's and women's tennis teams have been recognized with academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for the 2024-25 academic year.
Both programs earned ITA All-Academic Team status. The women's team posted an impressive 3.89 GPA, while the men's team recorded a 3.64 GPA. To qualify for the award, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

UHB 4th Floor Vav Cabling Project

Cabling work for the VAV (Variable Air Volume) infrastructure on the 4th floor of UHB will begin on Wednesday, July 30, and is expected to continue for approximately 2-3 weeks. During this period, technicians will be working to install and configure the necessary cabling for the system. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, but there may be work materials in the hallways and some areas may experience temporary fluctuations in room temperature. |
