From peaceful study nooks to vibrant event venues, our spaces are designed to meet your needs—each thoughtfully managed by different departments. Before booking, please review the specific guidelines for your chosen space to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

PLEASE NOTE: Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) must use UIS Connections to submit space reservation requests.

Meeting Rooms
Room capacities will vary to up to 14 people. Meeting rooms are available Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 9:00pm. Food and beverages are not permitted.
Please have the following information to fill out the form:
- Name of meeting
- Meeting name
- Meeting date and time
- How many people will be attending

- 3rd Floor Atrium
- Brookens Auditorium
The following spaces will be unavailable until a major plumbing project in PAC is completed. Anticipated project completion is July 2026.

- Main Floor Lobby
- Lower Level Main Concourse
- PAC 160 - Community Room
- PAC 155 - Board Room
- PAC 154 - Lecture Hall
- PAC 153 - Multi-purpose Room A
- PAC 152 - Multi-purpose Room B

Classroom
Include the following details in your room request:
- Date needed
- Start and end time
- The purpose or description of the event
- Who will be in charge of your event
- Who will be attending (students, faculty, staff, visitors, etc)

Student Union
Please note: faculty and staff will first need to contact the Student Union to check availability.

Field Station at Lake Springfield
Please note: student groups will need to use UIS Connection to request a reservation.
The UIS Field Station at Lake Springfield is a multi-use facility providing the UIS community with opportunities for education, research, and recreation on the Lake. Be sure to include as much information as possible, as this will aid in evaluating your request.

Residence Life
Requests MUST be made a minimum of 14 days in advance. Less than 14 days notice may result in a denial.
Multiple, regular, or repeating events are limited to up to 4 consecutive weeks to allow for others to have an opportunity to schedule an event.
Student organizations, groups, associations, or clubs with a full time advisor must use UIS Connection to reserve the space.

TRAC/Campus Recreation
Space availability can be viewed on the TRAC Facility Calendar.
Spaces include:
- The Recreation and Athletic Center
- Cricket Field
- Challenge Course
- Mini Golf Course
- Disc Golf Course
- Kiwanis Stadium Basketball Court
- REC Park

Innovate Springfield
The conference room can accommodate up to 12 people and includes a projection screen and a whiteboard.
The classroom can accommodate up to 40 people and includes a projection screen and whiteboard.
