UIS offers a Master of Science in Management Information Systems, a Bachelor of Science in MIS as well as a concentration in Health Care Informatics, a general minor in MIS, a minor in Business Analytics and graduate certificates in the areas of Business Process Management, IT Project Management, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity Administration and Cybersecurity Management.

Courses can be taken online, on campus or a combination of the two options.

Undergraduate Program

UIS offers a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems as well as the option to pursue a concentration in Health Care Informatics. The goal of the Management Information Systems department is to prepare students for challenging positions in everything from the application of information technology to solving business problems.

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS MINOR

Our Management in Information Systems minor is designed to complement your primary area of study by providing a background in and understanding of decision-making processes in organizations, organizational needs for information systems development, and application of modern MIS concepts and tools to meet organizational needs.

BUSINESS ANALYTICS MINOR

The minor in Business Analytics minor aims to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to collaborate in the design, development and adoption of Business Analytics applications in organizations.

GRADUATE PROGRAM

The Master of Science in Management Information Systems is designed to provide the professional administrator/manager a balance between technical expertise and organizational knowledge in everything from the application of information technology to solving business problems.
