The Illinois Springfield baseball team secured a 13-11 victory over Maryville on Tuesday afternoon at the UIS Baseball Field, extending its winning streak to eight games. The Prairie Stars improved to 17-10 on the season and now hold an 18-16 advantage in the all-time series against the Saints. 

After a dominant weekend in the circle, UIS standout Rosie Bartletti has been named the Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week. Bartletti's performance was highlighted by a historic outing against Lincoln on Sunday, March 30, when she threw the first perfect game in UIS history against a Division II opponent.

The UIS men's outdoor track & field team has been ranked 10th in the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. UIS earned 66 points in the poll, positioning them just behind McKendree and Truman State, who tied for eighth place. The Prairie Stars will look to make strides in the conference during the outdoor season.

The UIS men's golf team finished sixth at the Flyers Spring Invitational, held at Cantigny Golf Club. The Prairie Stars posted a team score of 617 after rounds of 301 and 316 in a competitive field.
