UIS Men’s Golf Set to Begin Fall Campaign at UMSL’s Arch Cup

The Illinois Springfield men's golf team is set to kick off its fall season at the Arch Cup, taking place on Tuesday, Sept. 2. The event will begin with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. at Gateway National Golf Club in Madison, Ill.
This competition marks a significant milestone as it is the first for UIS under the direction of the program's new head coach, Josh Edison. Coach Edison steps into his role with the team bringing a fresh perspective to the UIS golf program.

The following story was published by Illinois Times on July 24, 2025."NPR Illinois began broadcasting in 1975 as WSSR Radio and operated on the campus of what was then named Sangamon State University. Its call letters changed to WSSU in 1989, and then to WUIS when Sangamon State merged with the University of Illinois system in 1995. The station was rebranded as NPR Illinois in 2015, and it remains on the University of Illinois Springfield campus." |
