As a guiding body for student organizations under the SGA, this committee looks to allocate University funds to student organizations in a fair, unbiased, and efficient way, so as to promote student interaction and a positive learning environment on campus.”

SOFA Funding Request Forms

Budget request forms will be submitted through UIS Connection on the Fridays listed below.

The SOFA board will meet the next Sunday at 4:00 p. m. (CST) *Starting Fall 2024 SOFA will move their meeting time to 2pm* to review the requests, student organizations will not be required to attend and/or to present their requests in person to the board, though they are welcome to attend and present their requests to the board.

Funding decisions will be made by the committee based upon the information submitted through the UIS Connection form. Please fill out the SOFA request form completely so that SOFA is not delayed in making their decisions regarding the submitted requests.
