A new book, “Rickets, Race and Reproduction: Contracted Pelvis and the American Way of Birth,” authored by University of Illinois Springfield Emerita Associate Professor of History, Women’s Studies and African-American Studies Deborah Kuhn McGregor and completed posthumously by her husband, UIS Emeritus Professor of History Robert McGregor, was published on Feb. 1, 2024.

On Thursday, March 7, our Facilities & Services crews will be conducting a plumbing repair in the 2nd floor women's restroom on the classroom side of Brookens. This repair will require us to temporarily close that restroom from approximately 6:00 am to 9:00 am. All other restroom facilities will be open and available for use. Every effort will be made to keep the closure as brief as possible
