We still have spots open to register for next week's Know Your U trip to Emiquon Nature Preserve on October 23rd! Our schedule has us departing the university at 9am and returning at approximately 3:30pm. 

The annual fire drills for this year will be conducted on Thursday, October 31, and Friday, November 1 for the UIS campus. Please pay special attention to your building assembly points as some have been revised for the ease of assembly by location.

What do you like about your job?

Working in advancement, I get the opportunity to meet many alumni and community members who are passionate about UIS. My favorite part of my job is getting to know all the wonderful people who support our university. Everyone has a unique story, and it’s very inspiring to see how UIS has impacted so many lives. It makes me proud to work for such a great university.

The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present “A More Perfect Union” by St. Louis-based artist John Early. The exhibition will open on Monday, Oct. 21 and run through Thursday, Nov. 14.
