The UIS men's golf team will travel to Owensboro, Ky, for the Bill Crabtree Invitational on Oct. 28-29 at The Pearl Club, looking to finish their fall season on a high note.

The UIS women's cross country team put forth a solid performance at the GLVC Championships on Saturday, finishing fourth overall and demonstrating the depth of their roster. 

The UIS volleyball team picked up another win on Friday night as they swept the Drury Panthers at TRAC. With the win, the Prairie Stars improved to 14-6 overall with a 4-2 record in the GLVC. The Panthers drop to 11-9 overall with a 2-5 conference record.

The UIS men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against the University of Indianapolis on Friday night, moving to 4-5-5 overall and 4-3-5 in GLVC play. "We played exceptional defense tonight," said head coach Graham Shaw. "We generated several strong chances on the counterattack, and I'm really pleased with the clean sheet and the team's mentality."

The UIS women's soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over the University of Indianapolis on Friday night, improving to 6-6-3, 6-5-1 against GLVC opponents.  "The whole team worked incredibly hard tonight because we knew we needed to earn as many points as possible in these next few games," said goalkeeper Allison Mirimanian. "Our defense kept the other team on lockdown the entire game, and our offense was fearless in their attack, giving it 110%. That effort showed in the end."
