UIS Men's Soccer Falls 2-0 to UIndy in Home Finale

The UIS men's soccer team dropped its final home match of the season, falling 2-0 to Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium.
The Prairie Stars faced an early setback when starting goalkeeper Landon Amick received a red card in the sixth minute, forcing UIS to play the rest of the match with ten players. Edoardo Pinna came off the bench to take over in goal and immediately made an impact, denying the ensuing free kick to keep the Stars in it.

UIS Volleyball Earns Reverse Sweep Win at Drury

The UIS volleyball team (11-10, 3-5 GLVC) edged Drury (13-9, 3-4 GLVC) in a five-set thriller on Saturday afternoon, winning 23-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-11.
"What a way to end the weekend!" said head coach Laura Ulrich. "I'm so proud of the team and their resilience. They stepped up when their backs were against the wall and came together as a team. I'm looking forward to continuing to push through this last stretch of conference play."

The UIS men's golf team sits in 7th place after the opening round of the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational at The Pearl Club, posting a team score of 301.
The Prairie Stars were led by Daniel Edwards, who carded an even-par 72 to tie for sixth overall in round one. Sacha Lamraski added a 73, while Jake Baldin (77), Vilgot Arleback (79) Julien Babineau (80), and Peyton Woods (84) rounded out the squad.
