The Illinois Springfield women's golf team is firmly in contention after the opening 36 holes of the Dan Salisbury Memorial Collegiate Invitational at Piper Glen Golf Club. The Prairie Stars sit second in the seven-team field, six strokes behind leader McKendree, and five strokes clear of Maryville in third. UIS posted team rounds of 313 and 321 for a two-round total of 634

Herber Named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week

Illinois Springfield women's soccer sophomore Mallory Herber has been named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Herber earned the honor after recording the first hat trick of her collegiate career in Sunday's 3-3 draw with William Jewell. The three-goal performance marked the fourth, fifth, and sixth goals of her UIS career and kept the Prairie Stars level in their GLVC opener.

Fire Training Simulation at Sunflower 700: Sept. 16–19

Greetings Campus Community, Please be advised that the Springfield Fire Department will perform a fire training simulation at the Sunflower 700 Building beginning Tuesday, September 16 and continuing through Friday, September 19.
