The Illinois Springfield women's basketball team hits the road on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup at Wisconsin-Parkside. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m.

UIS enters the Parkside game coming off an 87-76 home victory over Roosevelt on Sunday at TRAC. The Prairie Stars built a commanding early lead with a 25-9 first quarter and carried a 51-31 advantage into halftime.

The Lakers, newcomers to NCAA Division II in 2024-25, come from the Midwest's GLIAC conference, giving UIS a fresh in-region opponent to open a three-game non-conference stretch before conference play resumes on Jan. 2.
