Temporary Performance Location

Due to the current construction/maintenance work occurring in the Performing Arts Center (PAC), our '25-'26 UIS Theatre Productions will take place in the UIS Theatre Acting/Directing Studio in the Visual & Performing Arts Building (VPA 170)

Park in LOT B West on the UIS Campus. Then walk to the Visual and Performing Arts building (VPA 170).

There are two ways to purchase tickets for UIS Theatre Productions:

Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00

In-Person

In-person purchases are only available on the day of the show.

Tickets will be available in VPA 170

  • For THE LARAMIE PROJECT by Moises Kaufman and Members of Tectonic Theater, Please Be Advised: Content Advisory: THE LARAMIE PROJECT is an intimate and profound exploration of the community and worldwide ramifications of the brutal murder of the 1998 University of Wyoming student, Matthew Shepard. The production involves sensitive and mature themes, and contains strong language (swearing, and inflammatory/homophobic slurs), discussions of brutality and anti-gay violence.

Pay What You Can Preview Night”: Applies ONLY on Preview Night, which is the final dress rehearsal evening performance before Opening Night. Cash only, in person only, and at the UIS Theatre Acting/Directing Studio (VPA 170) main entrance door. For this evening only, the admission price is whatever amount each person decides to pay.
